Esteemed Sirs and Madams,
Reunion was once a proud member of the UVNO. Our micronation was founded in 1997, and was born bilingual (english/portuguese). Our chancellery has been very active since then (
www.reuniao.org/chancellery) and that is why we know UVNO very much.
We were members of UVNO back when the days Andres Chilavert was the president of this great institution.
Reunion has many english speaking members but few who speak german. However, we have always managed to have a representative here, and Reunion really values interaction with germanophone micronations, and wants to establish relations with everyone who so desires. We never agreed to being excluded, but that probably happen in a moment where we did not have a representative in this great body of nations.
This is why we want to join UVNO again, as a full member. We will have myself as an english speaking ambassador and probably a secondary ambassador who will be able to understand german fully. Whenever he or she is not around, I will be here observing, and asking questions. Maybe I will end up leraning german !

Well, it's the General Secretary who decides about the admission of new members - in accordance with the general assembly which can veto it.
So, I would guess that in three to five days you will be informed about the offical decision.
